Due to further strategic management , company has changed the legal name from OE PRODUCT SIA to OVOSTAR EUROPE SIA. Registration, VAT number, legal address and all contact information stays the same! Together with this change company has changed as well the logo.

After having a enough experience OE PRODUCT SIA on 01.10.2016 received significant amount of import quota for import of egg products from Ukraine to European Union and first goods under quota are going to be imported already in October 2016.

This step helps OE PRODUCT to go wider with sales of OVOSTAR egg products on EU market and allows to grow in distribution.

Accordingly to EU regulation from year 2014 there has been open special import quotas for eggs, egg products and albumins from Ukraine. Total amount of quotas provided for import for year 2016 was 1'500 mt for egg products and 3'000 mt for shell eggs.

In 2017 quantity of quotas dedicated will be higher than in 2016 - 1'800 mt for egg products.

The new enriched cages installed at one of the Ovostar Union’s poultry farms YASENSVIT at Stavishche village, Kyiv region in April 2016 were successfully inspected by independent international Testing, Inspection and Certification leader Bureau Veritas. According to the inspection certificate cages dimensions and equipment meet the standards and requirements for the protection of laying hens according to Directive 1999/74 (EU). The cages are fitted with suitable claw-shortening devices, nests, food and water supply system. Each hen is provided with 50% more cage area.  Lighting, sound level and ventilation conditions satisfy of the requirements.

The GC Ovostar Union became the first producer in Ukraine who launched the enriched cages at poultry farms. Accordingly to the Investment program and strategy for organic growth OVOSTAR UNION GC will continue sustainable development by enlarging production capacities and imbedding up-to-date technologies in poultry farms and egg processing facilities.

For OVOSTAR UNION group of companies this spring is a significant point of turn in further development of the agriholding. Production units belonging to GC are implementing new technologies to meet international and European poultry industry standards. 

In April 2016 one of the Ovostar Union’s poultry factory launched furnished or sometimes called enriched cages for laying hens which is still pioneer rearing system in Ukraine. 

New cage system is designed in accordance with European standards of poultry rearing.  Furnished cages retain several advantages of battery cages by providing more space for hen activity. The enriched cages are typically equipped with a nest box, perch, claw shortening device providing more behavioral outlets than conventional cages.

Implementation of European standards in production facilities enables OVOSTAR UNION GC to increase in marketing opportunities focusing on European Union market.

Exhibition was successfully passed and together with colleagues from Ovostar, we introduced customers with actual products and progress of development of sales in EU market. Food Ingredients exhibition is one of the most important events in Food industry, which is attended by most of food industry specialists, producers, buyers, technologists, product developers. Next time we meet in year 2017 in Frankfurt , Germany (28-30 November).

From August 2015 company OE PRODUCT has contracted new warehouse premises with three different temperature regimes: FROZEN, CHILLED, DRY in Riga area. Warehouse has a regular temperature control and warning system, that gives additional safety for our product storage.
